TIIC was established in 2002 to promote knowledge, professionalism and networking within the industry community via the organisation of an annual conference to cover topical issues.

Additionally, the Committee, drawn from a cross-section of the industry, organises ad hoc events that have included Alternative Awards Nights, golf tournaments and an industry Dinner.

Most events are sponsored by well-wishers in the industry and any surpluses have been donated to worthy causes.
